Regarding the Covid-19 situation, the organizers are very well aware that the plans for the Championships events as detailed below, may be subject to change. Nevertheless, all preparations are made under the assumption that all countries will be able to participate, and that the event will take place as planned. All precautions regarding the COVID-19 restrictions will of course be adhered to by all throughout the event.

Saturday the 16th of October: The Nordic Championship Team event.

The event will be arranged as an IWT, 2 teams of 3 dogs per country. The dogs competing in the team event, must be qualified (and entered) to participate in either the Individual Nordic Championship or the Nordic Cup. The Team event will be judged according the IWT rules.

The events of the day will be split in two separate events. The dogs will be judged individually in both events. The individual events will be open to dogs, which have competed in the Team-event.

Nordic Championship:

The Nordic Championship event will be arranged as an A-trial (winnerclass level). 3 dogs from each country can participate in this event if qualified. Dogs need to be qualified for A-trial elite class / winner class level as per the rules in their own country, or they can be qualified according to the Danish rules (1×1st prize in an open class A-trial. Danish dogs participating in the event must of course qualify per the Danish rules. The winner of the Nordic Championship will be awarded the unofficial title and can be awarded an official A-trial Certificate, if the performance meets the required standard. The judging in the A-trial will be in accordance with the rules for official A-trials in Denmark.

Nordic Cup:

The event will take place at the same time as the Nordic Championship, but in a different location. The event will be arranged as a B-trial (Elite class/ Winner class – level). 3 dogs from each country can participate in this event. The dogs must be qualified to compete at winner class/elite class level in a B-trial (2x 1st prices in B-trials on Open class level).
